:: Almond Butter Honey Yogurt Dip ::
Summer is approaching… and pretty soon you may start feeling like you’re seriously living in the kitchen with the kids home! Having four children, I do in fact spend what feels like half of my day preparing healthy meals and snacks {especially since we homeschool}.
This Almond Butter Honey Yogurt Dip is a healthy and delicious snack idea that I got from Weelicious! The recipe only calls for three ingredients with an optional fourth, that I’ve added in. I eliminated use of refined sugars by using raw, unprocessed honey and sweetening it further with one ripe banana.
I love creating a snack that my kids all like, that is also healthy. This one is just that! The greek yogurt and almond butter add in lots of protein, flavor, and creaminess… while the raw honey and banana add in a touch of sweetness! You can whip up this kid-friendly dip in just minutes, and serve with all kinds of fresh sliced fruit, pretzels, crackers, or even spread across a bagel! Enjoy!
Almond Butter Honey Yogurt Dip
Ingredients
- 1 cup plain greek yogurt {I used Chobani}
- 2 tablespoons almond butter {or natural peanut butter}
- 1 tablespoon raw honey
- 1 ripe banana {optional}
Instructions
- *If you decide to mix in a ripe banana, decrease the honey in the recipe by half. The banana will add natural sweetness!
- Using a food processor, combine the plain greek yogurt, almond butter, honey, and {optional} banana.
- Mix until smooth and creamy.
- Serve immediately as a dip for sliced fruit, pretzels, crackers, and/or spread on a bagel! Enjoy!
