Welcome Saturday! We are excited for this edition of weekend lovelies. As always, we like to feature an eclectic mix of our favorite finds. With Thanksgiving this upcoming week, the holiday count down is on! The chilly weather that we have had this week made us start thinking of all things holiday including; the things in life that we are most thankful for. Next week we plan to focus on some quality family time, as well as, feature some of our favorite last minute Thanksgiving recipes! Sara and I hope that you have some wonderful upcoming plans for Thursday… or maybe you have a fun list to round up on Black Friday. Whatever you have planned, we hope it is enjoyable! I love Good Morning America! One of my favorite segments on the show is their “Play of the Week.” One of this weeks plays, was this lovely little video from Goldieblox. They are a wonderful company that believes in engineering toys for girls in hopes of creating future inventors. This video features girls playing with more than dolls. They’re being scientist and inventors. With the music of “Girls” by Beastie Boys, this is a fun treat!

Don’t you just love Instagram? One of my favorite companies to follow is Sunset Magazine. I am an avid reader of all of their material, but most of all, their pictures of the West on their Instagram feed enamor me. On Wednesday, Sunset Magazine featured their first Sunset DIY winners! This lovely shop, White and Black on Etsy, features beautiful custom paintings. Sara and I are a little biased when it comes to our home state….love!!! I have a secret, I {heart} Cinnamon Toast Crunch. If there wasn’t a budget and I was not watching my sugar intake, I would hoard Cinnamon Toast Crunch. It has to be my all time favorite breakfast cereal, so when I came across this amazing recipe, I had to share. These cookies from Cookies and Cups look absolutely delightful. Oh my!!!

Mulled Wine // Kitchen Confidente
The holidays seems to slow life down in a way. I don’t know if it is the weather or family, but it is a time of the year where you are home more…well at least home meaning around family more. Mulled Wine smells wonderful while cooking on the stove top, and it is tastes good, too! Mulled Wine reminds me of Thanksgiving and Christmas. This recipe is close to a family one that I like to make. A simple yet warm and fuzzy recipe.

I know you are laughing right now, but this is so Sara and my life. Legos scattered and boys and girls that love to build! Right now, Mason’s number one gift from Santa is The Lego Lone Ranger Train Set. We live and breathe Legos, and I love it! Building mini engineers one brick at a time. So that being said this is a perfectly fitting way to wish you all a happy and healthy Thanksgiving! {xo}
