:: Our Life in Photos ::
The month of March has been so full, happy, and memorable for my family! My two littlest ones celebrated their birthday’s! Miss Blue requested a mermaid theme, with street tacos {made by her daddy} for dinner, and a colorful circus cake! {Ha!} The only gift she really wanted for her 6th birthday was to go to Disneyland. {We had passes four years ago… but since then, we haven’t been back.} A week following her actual birthday, we made the trek down the mountain to the happiest place on earth!
Before we get to those fun photos… here is a peek at Sophia’s special day! {I wish I could take credit for the birthday decorations… but it was all my creative husby’s vision! He decorated and I made her sparkly crown… because every mermaid needs a fancy crown, right?!}
Here was our magical day at Disneyland! It was so fun to experience it through their joyful eyes… they’re at the perfect ages! We spent just shy of 12-hrs there… soaking up the day as fully as possible. I’m not crazy about crowds… or the lines for the matter, but I really can’t wait to go back with them again! They’re only little once…
The picture below just makes me laugh! It is next to impossible to photograph all four of them with everyone looking at the camera and smiling! This photo just captures them and the funny parts of their personalities… Sophia with her super cheesy smile, Seth being only slightly awkward, Ryan just waiting for it to be over, and Mr. Finn…. charming the camera!
Two days after our trip to Disneyland, Mr. Amazing turned 3! He loves trucks just as much as any toddler boy does. For his special day, Husby created a construction site theme. It turned out so cute… and he LOVED it! We made another trip down the hill to go to a bouncy place for the afternoon. He jumped and jumped, ate pizza for dinner, and then by the time we made it home to eat his “brown” cake… he seriously PLEADED to go to bed! The day didn’t end as planned {with us all singing around him at the table blowing out candles}, but we did end up singing to him while tucking him into his snug little bed! It was a lovely day….
I feel so blessed to be the mama to these sweet little ones, and love any chance that my husby and I have to make them feel special and loved! The pretty decorations, presents, and special outings are great… but the best thing is always the quality family time. I’m so thankful for the time we’ve shared this past month. After all, TIME = LOVE…. {and wow!} do we ever love these four!
