:: Weekend Lovelies ::
Jingle bells, Jingle bells, the weekend has arrived….oh what fun it is to be celebrating this holiday season! I can’t believe we only have one more weekend until Christmas! Not to add any more stress to your already full plate, but I really can’t believe it. Where oh where did this year go? One minute it was January 2013, and now we are here today with a few weeks left in the year.
This edition of weekend lovelies is a possible wish list of all the glorious finds that I seem to always come across when I am supposed to be shopping for others. Since I am on a budget and not living in the days in which I would buy one for you and one for me {life before kids}, I do covet a wish list. One of them I was able to get a little before Christmas, hence the magical find of these Frye Boots at Nordstrom Rack. I am so very thankful for a little early holiday gift! I hope that you will add a few of these favorite finds that Sara and I love to your own wish list. I heard Santa Claus is coming town…..hope you enjoy some of these picks!
Hot Chocolate Pot // Williams Sonoma
We love hot chocolate, but sometimes it is a pain to heat up individual cups of cocoa. This Hot Chocolate Pot can hold up to three cups of hot chocolate and can simply be heated up in your microwave. Once warm, press down on the top button and there you have mixed and frothed hot chocolate. Yum!
Gingerbread Latte Mug Cakes // The Vintage Mixer
The holidays are for indulging right?! Well within reason I know, but this dessert sounds and looks amazing. Warm and cozy in front of a fireplace I can’t wait to try this recipe.
Ugg Australia “Dakota” Slipper // Nordstrom
I love slippers. I can’t stand cold feet. I have been eying these colorful slippers. Comfy, cozy, and cute… I can’t decide which color I would pick, but a definite Santa List must!
Wool Twill Blanket Wrap Coat // Burberry
Gold buttons… check, classic black… double check! This coat looks like it can be dressed up or down. Love the classic lines.
Papier-Mache Animal Sculptures-Reindeer // West Elm
As a kid I was anti-animal heads hanging in my house. My Dad is a hunter and he would have some of his trophies hanging on the walls of his home. So yes Dad… I would totally hang one of these Papier Mache Animal Sculptures in my home. I have the perfect spot for one. Love!
Bourbon Pomegranate Sangria // Climbing Grier Mountain
The holidays aren’t the holidays without a fun cocktail to entertain your guests with. This week Sara and I posted a new favorite holiday drink, Christmas Cranberry Spritzer. Tangy and sweet wrapped up in bubbly fizz. Easy to make as it is poured into a carafe, making four drinks at once. This Bourbon Pomegranate Sangria is a seasonal drink, as well, and is a wonderful edition to your cocktail list. Especially for the men in your life that favor a bourbon drink.
Printable Elf On A Shelf Note Cards // Simple As That
Do you have an Elf visiting your family for the holidays? We have two, Aubrey and Cutie. They have been full of fun antics since coming back from the North Pole after Thanksgiving. I know as Moms, in a way we love this time, as we use these little elf messengers to keep our kids focused on making good decisions. What would be even more fantastic is a little correspondence from these visitors to let the kids know updates from Santa. I love these printable note cards. Whether they are used daily for the last 12 days of Christmas or for the special occasion when your Elf leaves back to the North Pole, I think this would be a great way to create a memory that you can keep.
